Policies & Terms of Service

Please review our policies before booking your appointment. By scheduling services with Divina Skin & Body Boutique, you agree to these terms and conditions.

Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

We understand that schedules change and life happens. However, as a small business, last-minute cancellations and no-shows prevent us from serving other clients who may be waiting for an appointment.

  • 24-Hour Notice Required: We require at least 24 hours advance notice for cancellations or rescheduling.
  • Late Cancellation Fee: Cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice will be charged 50% of the scheduled service cost.
  • No-Show Fee: Clients who fail to show up for their appointment without notice will be charged 100% of the scheduled service cost.
  • How to Cancel: Please call us at (813) 616-0484 or cancel through your online booking confirmation email.
  • Emergencies: We understand that emergencies happen. Please contact us to discuss your situation.

Arrival & Late Arrival Policy

To ensure you receive your full treatment time and we stay on schedule for all clients:

  • First-Time Clients: Please arrive 10-15 minutes early to complete intake forms and consultation.
  • Returning Clients: Please arrive 5 minutes before your scheduled appointment time.
  • Late Arrivals: If you arrive late, your service time may be shortened to accommodate our next scheduled client. You will be charged for the full service time originally booked.
  • More Than 15 Minutes Late: Arrivals more than 15 minutes late may need to be rescheduled and could be subject to our cancellation policy.

Payment Policy

  • Payment Due: Payment is due at the time of service. We accept cash, all major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover), and digital payments.
  • Gratuity: Gratuity is not included in service prices. Tips are appreciated and can be added to your credit card or given in cash. Standard gratuity is 15-20%.
  • Credit Card on File: We may require a credit card on file to secure certain appointments, especially for first-time clients or high-value services.
  • Packages & Gift Certificates: Payment for packages and gift certificates is due at time of purchase. Package services must be used within the specified timeframe and are non-refundable.
  • Pricing: All prices are subject to change. Current pricing will be confirmed at time of booking.

Health & Safety Policy

Your health and safety are our top priorities. Please help us provide you with safe, effective treatments:

  • Medical Disclosure: You must disclose any medical conditions, allergies, medications, recent surgeries, or if you are pregnant or nursing. Failure to disclose relevant health information may result in service refusal.
  • Contraindications: Certain health conditions may prevent you from receiving specific treatments. We reserve the right to refuse service if we believe it may be unsafe for you.
  • Illness Policy: If you are experiencing cold, flu, fever, or contagious condition symptoms, please reschedule your appointment at no charge to protect our staff and other clients.
  • Skin Conditions: Active infections, rashes, open wounds, or severe skin conditions may require medical clearance before treatment.
  • Physician Approval: For certain advanced treatments or if you have medical conditions, we may require written approval from your physician.

Consent & Liability

  • Informed Consent: By booking and receiving services, you consent to the treatments and understand their potential benefits and risks.
  • Results May Vary: Individual results from treatments vary based on skin type, lifestyle, and other factors. We make no guarantees about specific results.
  • Limited Liability: Divina Skin & Body Boutique, its owners, and staff are not liable for adverse reactions, complications, or unsatisfactory results when proper disclosure and aftercare instructions have been provided.
  • Aftercare Compliance: Following recommended aftercare instructions is essential for optimal results and to prevent complications. Non-compliance may affect results.
  • Personal Belongings: We are not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal items. Please keep valuables secure.

Refund & Satisfaction Policy

  • Service Satisfaction: Your satisfaction is important to us. If you're not happy with your service, please let us know immediately so we can address your concerns.
  • No Refunds: All sales are final. Services, packages, and gift certificates are non-refundable once purchased.
  • Service Redo: In cases of legitimate service concerns, we may offer a complimentary redo of the service or partial credit toward future services at our discretion.
  • Package Expiration: Service packages must be used within their specified timeframe (typically 6-12 months from purchase). Expired packages cannot be refunded or extended.
  • Gift Certificates: Gift certificates are non-refundable and must be used within one year of purchase date.

Spa Etiquette & Conduct

To ensure a peaceful, professional environment for all clients and staff:

  • Respectful Behavior: We maintain a zero-tolerance policy for inappropriate behavior, harassment, or disrespect toward staff. Such behavior will result in immediate termination of service without refund.
  • Cell Phones: Please silence or turn off cell phones during your treatment to maintain a relaxing environment.
  • Children: For the comfort and safety of all clients, children are not permitted in treatment areas unless they are receiving services.
  • Cleanliness: Please arrive with clean skin (for facials) and clean feet (for pedicures). We reserve the right to refuse service if basic hygiene standards are not met.
  • Alcohol & Substances: Clients under the influence of alcohol or drugs will not be served and will be charged the full service cost.

Privacy Policy

  • Information Collection: We collect personal information (name, contact details, health information) necessary to provide spa services and communicate with you.
  • Data Protection: Your personal and health information is kept confidential and secure. We do not sell or share your information with third parties except as required by law.
  • Marketing Communications: By providing your contact information, you consent to receive appointment reminders, promotional offers, and updates from Divina Skin & Body Boutique. You may opt out at any time.
  • Photography: We may take before/after photos for our records and may request permission to use them for marketing purposes. You have the right to decline.
  • Record Retention: Client records are maintained in accordance with Florida state requirements and professional standards.

General Terms & Conditions

  • Right to Refuse Service: We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at our discretion.
  • Policy Changes: These policies are subject to change at any time. Current policies will be posted on our website and available at our spa.
  • Agreement: By booking and receiving services at Divina Skin & Body Boutique, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these terms and conditions.
  • Florida Law: These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Divina Skin & Body Boutique operates under Florida license MA#108486.
